Angelic Protection

I forgot to relate the first incidence of angelic protection this week. On Monday, as we were on our way to the orthopedic doctor for grandma's steroid shots in her knees, we were traveling down Hwy 55 with lots of traffic when I noticed a deer on the side of the road 3-4 car lengths ahead of us. Sure enough he started across the road, was hit by a car three ahead of us on the other side. That threw the deer into the air and it landed in the middle of the road but scooted under the car just ahead of us which had pulled off to the shoulder. We followed onto the shoulder and as they pulled on over the deer, we were stopped right at the body. I had to go around the body which had ended up on the shoulder. I ended up in the grass to go around and safely made it back into the heavy traffic. So many things could have gone wrong in that situation but God was with us and saved our lives one more time!!
Grandma was not even upset but has told a couple of times that I hit the deer.
