We're Off!!
Well, tonight I did something that I needed to do a long time ago. I joined Curves. It's not going to be something that I enjoy for a while. I remember how my whole body hurt when I first started walking. The only reason I stopped was because of bad weather and by the time the weather got good again, I was out of shape.
Maleah joined with me. She is such an encourager. She definitely does NOT need to lose weight but it won't hurt her to firm up some of her muscles.
I feel like I need to make a decided effort in this department since it doesn't look like my grief will cause me to lose weight. I want to do this now at this point in my life because it is a good place to start with something that needs commitment.
My goal......being able to fit into a size 10 dress!

Excellent! Glad to hear you all made it on your first time! Keep us up to date with the progress for sure. We'll be praying for you.
Well, it wasn't a problem to get measured and weighed and shown HOW the equipment worked! I guess you should be praying for our soreness when we start this on Thursday night. Would you believe that Maleah has 7 inch arms....she said it was 8 1/2 inches but I don't know where she got that. I KNOW something was only 7 inches....I hope it wasn't her waist!
